கடமை தவறேல்

 "மச்சான்,மச்சான் எந்திரிடா" .................... "ராஜேஷ் டேய் எந்திரிடா, இன்னைக்கு Microprocessor Lab இருக்கு "....

" மச்சி நேற்று தான் நான் பொங்கல் வடை சாப்டேன். நாளை மறுநாள் தான் மறுபடியும் பொங்கல்........" நான் உளறினேன். .............

" ஏன்டா, பொங்கலுக்கும் MP Lab கும் என்னடா சம்பந்தம் .நேற்றுமாடா சரக்கடிச்சே? "........

"இல்ல மச்சி..........நீ Day Scholar உனக்கு நம்ம பொங்கல் matter தெரியாதுல. திங்கள் வியாழன்  ரெண்டு நாளும் Hostel Messla Sleeping Dose பொங்கல் வடை  போடுவானுங்க.அத வச்சுதான் ரெண்டு Lab Session ம் ஞாபகம் வச்சிருப்பேன்.அதே தான் சொல்ல வந்தேன் "..........

"கொய்யால , பொங்கல் வடை சாப்டே ரெண்டு Lab கும் Attendance Lag ஆனது போதும்.இன்னும் ரெண்டு  வாரத்தில  Model Practical Exam ஒழுங்கா இந்த Spl.Session ஆவது வந்து சேரு.நான் கெளம்பறேன்". சொல்லிட்டு கிளம்பிட்டான் சோழன்.

அறை மணி நேரத்துக்கு அப்புறம் மெதுவா எந்தரிச்சு பார்த்தப்ப  T.Nagar Ranganathan Street மாதிரி  busya இருக்கிற Rest Rooms freea இருந்தது.பக்கத்துல இருந்த முத்துராமன்  ரூம் பூட்டி இருந்தது. நான் அப்படியே  ஷாக் ஆகிட்டேன்.

 குளிச்சு எடுத்துட்டு ரூமுக்கு வந்து என் T-Shirta தேடினேன்,கிடைக்கல.சரி பனியானாவது இருக்கானு தேடினேன்.நல்ல வேளை  யாரும் அத எடுக்கல.பனியன் போட்டுட்டு கீழ வந்து ஆனந்த் பாபுவோட Slim Fit Shirt போட்டுட்டு, அங்க இருந்த Lab Coat எடுத்துட்டு மெஸ்ஸுக்கு போனேன்.[Karl Marx-ஓட  Communism படிக்காமலே நாங்க Hostela அதே  follow பண்ணுவோம்.அவனவன் வச்சிருக்கிற Arrear Papers தவிர எதுவுமே இங்கே Private Ownership கிடையாது.]


சூடா பூரி சாப்பிடறப்ப Mess Master Bai சொல்லி தான் தெரிஞ்சது இன்னைக்கு Warden, Chief Warden Hostela Inspection வரானுங்கன்னு. சாதரணமா Snacks Item இருந்தா தான் முத்துராமன்  அவன் ரூம பூட்டுவான்.இன்னைக்கு அனேகமா அவன் உள்ள படிச்சுட்டு இருந்துட்டு வெளில பூட்ட சொல்லிருப்பான்.

முத்துராமன் - அவனுக்கு என்ன எப்படியும் 95% attendance வச்சிருப்பான்.நாம தான் இன்னும் 2 வாரம் தொடர்ந்து classuku போகணும் இல்லனா வழக்கம் போல Princi Roomla attendance பிச்சை வாங்க வேண்டியது தான்.அதுவும் அந்த Princi Office Asstnt சக்கரபாணி எதோ தான் ஒரு Vice Principal மாதிரி சீன் போடுவான்.

பூசாரினால சாமிய வெறுத்தது மாதிரி இவனாலே  Princia பார்க்கணும்னா  காண்டா இருக்கும்.  Prime Minister பின்னாடி நிக்கிற NSG மாதிரி முறைப்பா Safari Pant Shirt போட்டு நின்னாலும் அவன் ஒரு Dummy Piecenu seniors நிரூபிச்சாங்க.

[ போன semester exam முடிஞ்சதும் Final year Seniors ஆறு பேர் அந்த ஆள காளவாக்கம் டீ கடைல வச்சு மொத்து மொத்துனு பின்னிட்டாங்க."Sorry தம்பி என்ன விட்டுடுங்கன்னு" அந்த ஆள் கதறிருக்றார்."மன்னிச்சிடுங்க அண்ணானு" அவரு ஆறு பேர்டயும் சொல்ல வச்சிருக்காங்க Seniors.

அடிச்சிட்டு வரும் போது அவருக்கு ஒரு டீ வாங்கி கொடுத்து இனிமேல் Attendance போடறதுக்கு scenu போட்ட மறுபடியும் எவனாவது வந்து உனக்கு போடுவானுங்கன்னு சொல்லி ..........இப்படி தான் அவரு Dummy Piece ஆகிருக்றாரு.]

Lab Coat மாட்டிட்டு Labku உள்ள போகலாம்னு நினைக்றப்ப Lab Attender அழகர்சாமி மறிச்சார்.செம கடுப்பா இருந்தது.
 என்னயா!அறை மணி நேரம் latea வர.எங்க Shoe? .கிளம்பு நிற்காத....

நான் பதில் சொல்லல. கிளம்பி வந்துட்டேன்.Ph.D பண்ணின Professorsae  சும்மா இருந்தாலும் இந்த ஆள் சும்மா இருக்க மாட்டான்.பசங்க என்ன Doubt கேட்டாலும் சொல்ல மாட்டான்.பொண்ணுங்கட்ட போய் வளிவான். பாதி பொண்ணுங்க Experiment output வரலைனாலும் Labla நல்ல மார்க் வாங்கறதே இவனால தான்.  இந்த அழகர்சாமிய Dummy Piece ஆக்கி அழுகினசாமியா மாற்ற வேண்டிய கடமை இப்போ  எங்ககிட்ட இருக்கிறது மறுபடியும் புரிஞ்சது.

இன்னும் ஒரு Semester. அது வரைக்கும் பொறுமையா இருங்கடா Junior பசங்களா.நாங்க கடமை தவற மாட்டோம்.

A member of Team M.K.Gandhi ??

Anna Hazare has decided to include new members to his Core Team and I feel myself qualified to be a member of the team having the necessary qualities.Having worked as a Software Engineer,at the very outset I wish to represent not just myself  but also some of my colleagues  and hence my I here is not just me(நான் மட்டும் மாட்டிட கூடாது இல்ல).

I had ample opportunities to utilize govt.'s services and I would strictly comply to the govt. regulations.While utilizing the services provided by Income Tax department for paying Income Tax,I would regularly submit the HRA(house rent allowance) receipt without fail duly signed by the supposedly house owner and avail the HRA tax exemption.I would not want my house owner to be burdened by signing the rent receipt and would own the responsibility.If necessary I would also get my father's signature as land lord's when I live in our own house as if am paying rent to my father.To avail the complete HRA exemption I would ensure that my rent matches my HRA irrespective of the actual rent paid.In both the cases neither the actual house owner nor my father might have shown the rent received as part of their income so that they too didn't pay Income tax for this additional income.

While applying for passports,PAN card,driving license etc I would have zero tolerance for any deviation from the govt. regulations.I would engage an agent who would follow all govt. norms and get my application processed on time and even before time based on my ability.I would pay the agent enough service charge so that he places the important paper(முக்கியமான paper) at each stage to the officials concerned.As our officials are duty bound who would complete the task if they receive the முக்கியமான paper, they would complete the  task on time.

It is fortunate that one agent had "Prompt Passport Service(PPS)" whereby I was able to get my passport within a week without even going to the Regional Passport Office once.Thanks to the agent without whose PPS I would not have utilized the chance to travel to USA in a short notice as I didn't have passport initially.(Its different story that while returning from USA,I had carried valuables largely exceeding the actual Customs Exemption Limit but ended up without paying customs duty).

Such kind of service is available in driving license application,PAN application also. I would be grateful to these agents throughout my life without whose support I would not have utilized and would not be able to utilize govt. services without even knowing the norms,waiting in the queue and just by signing in the cross marks X marked in the application.Hats off to them.

Not just these incidents I could quote many more where in I have strictly complied to govt. regulations and quoting them would make me qualify not just for Team Anna but Team M.K.Gandhi if there is one.  

நம்ம ஆளா நீ?

Machi "நம்ம ஆளு போறா "........ this phrase is frequently used in college days but does have different meaning than that is implied in those below......recollecting the incidents in the reverse order of their occurrence.

Some time back I had a chance to meet the Principal of an institution who happened to be from my native town but settled in Chennai. I was waiting for admission in her institute and after meeting her for preliminary enquiry she asked me to meet again after admission.Again I met her and she spoke so well and even shared her personal details.I was wondering how she happened to be so nice to a stranger who would be a student of her institute.Only thing she knows about me is the information provided in the admission form(you know in government institute what are all the info we provide for admission).Finally she said study well,"நம்ம ஊர் மக்கள் நிச்சயம் PASS ஆகிடணும்".But "same nativity" is not the only reason for her heartfelt wishes.

I was returning from office in my colleague's bike towards my room alone at 2AM where a duty bound Police Constable stopped me and started his ENQUIRY.Had I started the conversation in ENGLISH he would have allowed me to leave even though I didn't carry any of the photo ID cards and books related to the bike. As I was speaking in Tamil he started asking many questions. When I was not able to tell the registration no.of the bike the PC wanted me to ring my colleague and know it from him.Goyyala he also didn't tell his bike's no.PC wanted me to take the bike from nearby police station the next day.All of a sudden when he enquired about my native,he got interested and the conversation went along and when he asked about an Ex.MLA in our district, I said he is close friend of my father.The duty bound PC said then " நீ நம்ம ஆளோட friend பையன்னு சொல்ற ,சரி கிளம்பு"........

While studying  Engineering First year one of my relative's friend who had met me after a long period was enquiring about the college where I was studying along with my brother.When I said the name of the college as SSN he was not aware and started giving me advise(one of the freely available service).He said that my father is struggling hard in bringing up us and said that we should have studied well in +2 to get admission in good college.When I expanded the college name there was shining brightness in his face and he said

Sun Pictures படம் எடுக்கிறது வரைக்கும் எந்த படம் பார்க்கலாம் கூடாதுன்றது ஒரு சிலருக்கு choicea  இருந்தது. SP தான் வீட்டுல இருக்கிற எல்லோரும் படம் பார்கிற வரைக்கும் advertisement போட்டு torture பண்ண ஆரம்பிச்சாங்க. ஆனா SP முன்னாடியே இந்த கொடுமை Long Distance Bus travel பண்றவங்க face பண்ணிருப்பாங்க.   

உலகத்திலே மிக பெரிய தண்டனை நாம பார்க்க கூடாதுன்னு நினைக்கிற படத்த மறுபடியும் மறுபடியும் பார்க்க வைக்கிறது தான்.நான் எந்த படங்கள் பார்க்க கூடாதுன்னு நினைக்றேனோ அதெல்லாம் கொய்யால பஸ்ல போட்டுடுவானுங்க. 

அசல்,திருப்பாச்சி,சிவகாசி,நெறஞ்ச மனசு, சொக்க தங்கம் இன்னும் எத்தனையோ..govt busla speaker system மொக்கையா வேற இருக்கும். கொய்யால கண்ண மூடிட்டு இருந்தாலும் காதுல கீச் கீச்னு torture பண்ணிடுவாங்க..

சொக்க தங்கம் மட்டும் என்ன 15 முறை மேல SETC/TNSTC/private bus operatorsnu ரவுண்டு  கட்டி அடிச்சானுங்க....அந்த படத்தோட background music ?????எப்பா சாமி .......theater operator கூட அவ்ளோ முறை பார்த்துருக்க மாட்டங்க ....மிக பெரிய தியாகி நான் அந்த வகைல ..

நல்ல வேளை இப்போலாம் 2 மாசம் முன்னாடியே  online train ticket book பண்ணி escape ஆயிடறேன்....
